    2. You can purchase the book at www.truecrimebook.net. Some prisons will not allow inmates to receive books unless they come from a publisher like Amazon or Barnes & Noble, so check with the prison if you are going to send her a copy.

Status: Unknown As seen on Women behind Bars, Cindy Countess was convicted of 2nd degree murder in 2003 of the stomping death of her mother. She is not currently found using inmate search. There are not news articles about her release or pardon. Her sister has been working diligently to have her released. Her whereabouts are unknown at this time. Her sister's petition is below. There is a petition to free Cindy: Help free Cindy Countess . She was denied parole in 2014. According to her petition, On April 28, 2004, the Circuit Court for the City of Roanoke found Countess guilty of second degree murder and sentenced her to 30 years incarceration and suspended 16 of those years.It is certainly likely she has been released.
