As seen on Women Behind Bars, Helen Shreves was convicted of the murder of her son in law, Tony Martinez and sentenced to 30 years

. Her episode is described as Shreves was convicted of the 1986 murder of Tony Martinez, her son-in-law; Latham pled guilty to kidnapping a baby from a maternity ward.

While we were unable to confirm her death, if she were alive today she would be 84 years old.

    I found some info on a mugshot website but the SID # is too short for the tx database search. Prob because she was booked a long time ago? Anyway it looks from the info that she was paroled in 2015.

    Here's her obituary. She just passed away a few weeks ago on January 25, 2020.
