As seen on the show, "Women Behind Bars", Celeste was convicted of  first-degree murder charges in the death of her grandmother, who was brutally slain with a blunt object.

    I think the real murderer is the son of the woman who was killed, its my gut instinct, he knew too much.

    they say they found both celeste and her deceased grandmothers blood at the scene on the top she had been wearing, that makes it possible that both women were attacked and someone else is responsible for the murder, if celeste had a drug problem she could easily have been tricked into believing that she was responsible, or perhaps even threatened if she came forward. The whole trial seemed to go without any real investigation other that questioning the woman.

Status: Incarcerated  As seen on Women Behind Bars, Charaty was convicted of the gruesome murder of another woman. She was challenging to find as this is not her legal name, nor is the one under which she is incarcerated. It's quite complicated. This may or may not be her. It is impossible to discern. Cindy Countess

Status: Unknown As seen on Women behind Bars, Cindy Countess was convicted of 2nd degree murder in 2003 of the stomping death of her mother. She is not currently found using inmate search. There are not news articles about her release or pardon. Her sister has been working diligently to have her released. Her whereabouts are unknown at this time. Her sister's petition is below. There is a petition to free Cindy: Help free Cindy Countess . She was denied parole in 2014. According to her petition, On April 28, 2004, the Circuit Court for the City of Roanoke found Countess guilty of second degree murder and sentenced her to 30 years incarceration and suspended 16 of those years.It is certainly likely she has been released.
